Those double knit polyester quilts are wonderfully heavy & warm when they are done. My mother-in-law has some & I love them. We have a quilt top that she had made for us one year from old clothes that belonged to her mother. I have never finished the quilt though, because I don’t sew. One of these days when I have the extra money, I would love to have a back put on it.
