Before you read this:

I am a Christian. I attend a Brethern in Christ church. I do not claim allegiance to any denomination. I lean towards conservative. I am simply a Christian.

  • Jesus is the only Son of God.
  • Born of the virgin Mary, was crucified for our sins, died, on the third day He rose again.
  • He took the punishment that we deserve, He gave up His life.
  • God took out His wrath on His Son Jesus, the wrath that we deserve, whether we are a “good person” or not.
  • Nobody will get to God without Him.
  • One must repent, and be born again in order to recieve salvation.
  • The world was created by God in six days. God rested on the seventh.
  • God does not send people to Hell, we send ourselves to Hell by rejecting Jesus.
  • Hell was a place made for Satan and his demons.
  • We are given freewill. God did not create robots. He wants us to love Him because we WANT to not because we were pre-destined to. But when we become Christians we are destined for Heaven.
  • Since we have freewill, we can fall from grace and reject God if we choose to do so.
  • Love is a choice, I chose to love the Lord because He loved me first by remaining on the Cross when He had full authority to not go through such suffering. He could have called legions of angels!
  • The Bible is the only Word of God. There are no mistakes in His Word.
  • The Bible does not talk about infant baptism. When someone comes to an age of understanding, accepts Jesus, understands what is going on, and they feel the Lord’s leading is when they should be baptized. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change.
  • I am not a fan of feminism. It has screwed up my view of life and has poisoned my mind for so many years. This movement has messed up God’s model for the family and the natural order of things which is

GOD –> Jesus –> Man –> Woman

This does not mean that woman are dummies and don’t deserve to be treated humanly, quite the opposite! The Bible depicts wisdom as a women and has a great example of a treasured woman in Proverbs 31. If it is God’s order He must have made it for a very good reason! God doesn’t make rules just to be a control freak. He does it to protect us, because He loves us.

  • I wear skirts and dresses only, and I wear a headcovering.

  • I believe that dating is like practicing for divorce. The usual situation is you like someone, you go out, find out you don’t like them then you break up. This is sadly how many marriages are. You date then get married with no guidance or counsel. Just solely “listening to your heart” Find out you don’t like each other then leave. It is wrong as well as selfish.
  • Courtship is a better alternative. Since you are only going to marry one, why give pieces of your heart away to others? I have. It is not worth it. Do not violate your conscience! If you have, it is hard I know! I have been there. I had a couple of relationships prior to when I got saved. Then one after I was saved. And I knew better. Don’t beat yourself up though. There is grace and forgiveness for you. Give it to God. Sooner rather then later. He can take away the burden and guilt but only if you will let Him.
  • I believe that homeschooling is a better alternative to public schooling. I don’t know about you but I would not want to send my future children off for 8 hours a day 5 days a week to a place, with people I do not know, where they are taught that humans are elite apes, God is not real and that Christianty is for the uneducated fool.
  • I do believe that children are a blessing from God. Sadly our society views them as burdens and roadblocks other then the gifts that they really are! I want God to give me all of the children He wants me to have. Whether it is no children or 20 children, let God’s will be done.
  • The home is the best place for a growing, developing child. They can learn just as must while being at home (sometimes more) than public school. At home you can give your child one-on-one attention and they are not a number.

If you have any questions or would like to see more on here just drop me a line :D
