The Shunning:
Soul Surfer: I basically wanted to cry through the whole movie! This film can be a a tear jerker. Good points- It shows how a family loves each other, and supports each other through a tragedy. It shows perseverance. As for the Christian aspects, I thought they did pretty well for a film. Bad points: First and foremost, this has scenes that can be too intense for some. A shark attack, a lot of blood, an ambulance ride, her friend throwing up at the sight of her injuries. Yes, they tried to make it as real as possible and I thought they did a good job of making it real. Also, if you have a problem with seeing girls in swim suits be warned this is a surfing movie after all.
