There are some things that really make my blood boil…
There was an earthquake along the Atlantic coast today just before 2 P.M., our time.
How many more warnings does America need?!
Wake up! Don’t bury your head in the sand. Think about the path that our country is on.

The Mennonite church that I visit once a month for quilting cleaned out there kitchen and was giving away items for donations.
Today I got about a dozen plastic cups (which we don’t have yet), a handful of mason jars, and two large blue and white serving platters. All of it I purchased for five dollars. We had a family donate scrap material in boxes and trash bags. I helped Betsy sort through them. The a large quantity of the contents weren’t worthy to be called “scrap material”. They were as good as rags. I took a bag of scraps I am going to put to projects that I can donate to Haiti relief. I am motived to make a difference and help by working with my hands. After church I received a pint of garlic in olive oil, the product of an overabundance of garlic.
This morning Aaron and I lay awake in bed listening to NPR news. So depressing and a little scary.
Jimmy (I guess I should call him Brother Lang, I don’t think that I have even called him that yet…hmm..) did a sermon on Revelation. We are in chapter 2 and we covered the first two churches. Ephesus and Smyrna. I was really blessed when I read that even those the church in Smyrna was dirt poor, they were actually very rich in faith!
God proved to me today, that even though I may be uneasy about the future, He will provide. Now, do I need a pint of garlic and material scraps? Not necessarily, but if God can bless me with things that I can use to bless others, and He can fulfill my every need.
I took Carmen and the girls, Bethany, Rebekah, Abigail and Hosanna to the Cat’s Meow.
Our spoils:
A few dresses for Abigail, a shirt for me in the pink refill $5 bag.
Carmen bought three nice glass dishes.
Carmen also bought a big box full of canning jars for $2.
Before we found the box of jars we found ten canning jars on a shelf 25 cents each. I bought half and Carmen bought the other half she then gave me her half and treated me to lunch.

If you are about to watch this video, I will warn you that it is very scary.
These people are rolling around and acting as if they were insane. They say it is a move of the Spirit. All that they are doing to making themselves look like idiots and what is worse is that they are making the Holy Spirit, the one who comforts us and brings discernment and conviction, they are making Him look like a fool.
The time to make it right is now, we are very close. Jesus is at the door, though nobody knows the time.
I’m not a sensationalist, I’m not into scare-tactics.

*phew* Power trip much? After seeing this for the first time it made me want to laugh and throw up at the same time. Does he glorify God in this sermon? How many times does he use the word “I”? Why is he trying to sound like God? “I am furious with some men. And I believe that fury is God’s.” It is a very serious thing to say that you have a word from God. There is a difference between righteous anger and the anger of a fool. You are not Jesus, Mark Driscoll. Yeah shame on those men for not joining your “community groups” and shame on them for not “shutting up”. Shame on them for wanting to go get their kids after service. Yeah, shame on them Mark Driscoll. You have a right to be angry about the current treatment of women. But throwing a fit in the pulpit, spouting four letter words will not help.
This is sad.
And I’m not the only one who thinks this display of abuse of power is disheartening. And no, we are not “too dumb” to understand Mr. Driscoll’s “infinate wisdom”.
We know exactly what is going on.
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”— 2nd Timothy 4:3
“Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.” — 1st Timothy 4:1-2
“Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from spiriual powers of the world rather than from Christ”— Colossians 2:8
1st John 4:1 says “Dear friends, do not believe everyoe who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world”
I have tested it in the light of Scripture and it does not add up no matter what way you slice it.

Well, well, what an interesting title.
I went blueberry picking today with Kayla at a farm that our friend’s family helps run. I made $6.50. 
I made more then Kayla. 
It was very fun. Put on a belt with a bucket and just make sure that they are ble and not purple or pink.

Well let me tell you one thing that you cannot deny. It is closer then yesterday and will be even more closer tommorow. When it comes, it comes and that is all there is to it. We need to equip ourselves to do the spiritual warfare needed to protect our minds.
Why do you think that there are prophets and passages even a whole book dedicated to it? To fill up empty pages? I think not!
Be ready! Even though we don’t know when it is happening. Sure, your whole physical life might do by without ever seeing it happen, but it might just be happening in 3…2…1…why are you denying the reality it is screaming for?
